Transformation of a 1960s family house into a contemporary spacious home

This transformation of this 1960s family house into a contemporary and spacious home had a number of challenges, both structural and in terms of design potential. We worked closely with the family to understand and develop the existing underused and inefficient layout to create an open and welcoming living space. Our client wanted to feel connected to the garden and beautiful countryside beyond, so we extended the ground floor living area into a wonderfully light-filled space, which is finished in natural wood, and frames the fantastic views beyond.
