A new contemporary school for BeyondAutism, which replaces an existing building on the site previously called The Tram House. The new building exemplifies Maack’s expertise in designing specialist environments, and provides bespoke spaces for 36 pupils (aged 15-19) and 40 staff.

Within the 990 sqm four storey building, there are six classrooms, library/ICT facilities, art space, a gym, and dining and common rooms. These spaces are full of natural light and feel calm and secure, with precise timber detailing creating a warm and tactile atmosphere. Finished in brick to suit the surrounding architecture, the school is designed to the highest sustainable standards, incorporating high quality glazing.
