This specialist school for children with ASD is a carefully designed environment within a completely remodelled and refurbished existing Victorian Villa and 1960s extension.

The existing extension was stripped back to its concrete frame, super-insulated with a breathable wall construction, and clad with a new expressive and tactile facade of Cedar shingles, Douglas Fir, Larch and Sweet Chestnut timber.

Internally the finished palette is restricted to warm shades of white and timber to create a calming, sensitive, and robust series of spaces for the children.
