The Stealthy Healthy House

Innovative new build house occupying a previously disused alleyway that is only 3m wide

This innovative newbuild house occupies a previously disused alleyway, and has been designed using sustainable materials and processes throughout. The external finish is Douglas Fir cladding, which is a UK-grown durable softwood. It is low maintenance and is treated with OSMO which is an environmentally sound stain, and gives the house its striking appearance.

The house is designed with a breathing wall construction system that uses natural, low carbon renewable materials, and ensures very low waste external walls and roof.

High levels of insulation, natural light, and passive ventilation significantly reduce energy consumption and create a wonderfully light and comfortable environment inside.
