West Ealing

This design for a 2 storey annex is a contemporary interpretation of surrounding historic mews workshop buildings.  Making maximum use of a tight and tricky site, the pitched brick gable elevations reduce the perceived scale of the building, and complement the aesthetic of nearby listed buildings and adjacent mews architecture.

The new annex also has a basement, with an internal glazed terrace bringing light into this lower floor. Accessible both from the existing main house and the lane, the proposed building will be a space for leisure activities, with a yoga area, wine cellar, and a gym.
